MEET LIZ STONE
Liz brings expertise in the legal market, dedication, and a passion for building relationships.
Liz Stone is the founder of Stone Legal Search. With over 12 years of experience in legal search and over 20 years experience in the legal market, she has placed countless associates and partners at AmLaw100 firms, mid-size firms, and boutiques. She has also placed attorneys of all levels, from corporate counsel to General Counsel, at public and private companies.
Prior to becoming a legal recruiter, Liz practiced commercial and patent litigation with Pillsbury Winthrop, Goodwin Procter, and Buchalter Nemer.
Liz speaks regularly for legal organizations and career panels, including the Women in Law Institute, ABA Young Lawyer's Division, Stanford Law School, Pepperdine Law School, UC Law SF, CA Women's Lawyer Association, and more. She is the former Chair of the Board of Directors of the ABA Legal Career Central, and has also served as an Expert Advisor for the Bay Area Legal Market for Harvard Law School.

Liz received her B.A. from the University of Virginia and her J.D. from UC Law SF. In her free time, Liz performs standup comedy at clubs throughout the country and can be seen on Amazon Prime's Laugh After Dark.
